Welcome to the first post of the blog run by the Fairview Inn, located in sparkling downtown Talkeetna!
The Fairview Inn in Talkeetna Alaska was established in 1923 and is recognized as a historic Alaskan landmark. Today it is still in use, and is arguably the heart of downtown Talkeetna. Known throughout Alaska as a live music venue, the Fairview is currently restoring it's six historic rooms in the upstairs hotel. The Fairview Inn was where President Warren G. Harding stopped for lunch briefly before he passed away.
Welcome to the blogosphere.It's always great to catch live music while on vacation, or for that matter, pretty much anytime. It's good to know that great live music can be had, even without having to leave the inn, real cool.
